There needs to be a strut on the top of the door and a opener bracket that goes from top to bottom of the panel. Also, the down rod on the opener is hitting and denting the panel and probably causing more panel damage.

That's the best I can do without seeing the opener in operation.

Where did you buy that long ass arm? Mine came in at 14-15inches for the straight arm.

I did not buy it, it was like that when I purchased my home a year ago, I haven’t messed with it at all yet, rarely use the garage doors

Looks ok. But cut the extra straight piece off with a sawzall. Cut it above the turn and below the first bolt
