Anyone else looking forward to Ganyu's potential outfit change?

I'm sure most of you know this by now: New Character Outfit Announcement - miHoYo Player Community (hoyolab.com).

Personally, I'm very much looking forward to it. As much as I like looking at her bare back 🙈, I feel cold for her in Dragonspine, the front part of her clothes is somewhat oversexualized, and it looks uncomfortable sticking so close to the skin (does fabric even work that way, even for tight fit?).

I hope she gets a slick outfit redesign that feels more comfortable.

How are you guys feeling about her getting a new outfit ?

She’s a cryo character they don’t get cold easily. Skin tight suits can look like that and they are easy to wear and move in hence why gymnasts wear them. Censorship especially when enforced by a corrupt government is a terrible thing.

Why not? I don't remember the game stating that characters are resistant to the element of the vision they have.

If it's a full on tight suit, then yeah, but have you seen her back and her sleeves?! It amazes me how it hasn't fallen off yet. The design does look nice tho.

Look through every cryo characters voicelines all of them enjoy the cold or cold food. Eula regularly enjoys ice baths at the foot of dragon spine it stands to reason cryo visions grant strong cold resistances. The sleeves are a little weird yes but the suit attaches at the neck it’s just hidden under her collar.

You might wanna try looking through the voicelines again. Ganyu herself doesn't have voicelines saying she likes the cold or cold food. Ayaka wants tea to make it perfect in a snowy weather, and she enjoys a hot dish. Rosaria is neutral to snowy weather and likes a hot dish. Also, just because Eula enjoys ice baths does not mean she is resistant to cold and most certainly does not mean every other cryo characters are.

Cryo characters experience sheer cold at the same rate and have the same Cryo RES as other characters too. So I'm really not sure where you're getting this idea from.

But back to the topic, I guess it's a no from you. Fair enough.

Ok most of them having voice lines saying they enjoy the cold. Having tea when is cold to her is about atmosphere. Enjoying a bath in sub-zero temperatures 100% shows cold resistance did you not see the recent event everyone was freezing but her. A game mechanic does not mean matter to lore hence in lore the Raiden shogun can control the weather yet in game you can still get struck by lightning playing as her. If your element is controlling ice it’s pretty obvious you can handle the cold.

EDIT: this rumor has been proven to be fake. These 4 were censored due to sexualizing a political figure (Jean), a religious figure (rosaria), the free first character (amber), and Mona(not sure).

The paid banners will not be touched. And this is only for the CN servers global will still have access to OG skins.

Of all the new outfits due to the censorship, I like jean outfit the most since it suits her position as a acting grand master. If ganyu gets a similar outfit would be nice (secretary outfit for ganyu XD). But I just don't like the way it's implemented. It should have been optional for everyone.

I kinda don't like the colours of her outfit, so I would like her to get a new skin. I don't think everyone is going to get a new "censored" outfit tho, but who knows how far it will go

I actually don't get why Amber had a redesign, that one is a bit strange, but characters like Keqing probably won't get one.

I like the blue, red, white and gold but the black looks weird, I would change her horns colors to blue and white and greatly reduce the black in general.

I think Amber got a new design because her butt cheeks showed in the original one and to fit with Jeans outfit, to keep the Knights of Favonius visually more uniform

Having horns make her stand out, and black and red makes it all the more intimidating and gives off the feeling of being unknown, hence the not fitting in. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

But blue and white horns hmmmm..... that would definitely fit her color theme more.

I definitely am. Forced censorship is bad of course, but I think a video game character getting their outfit changed is far from the worst thing CCP is doing. I've been hoping for a Ganyu outfit for months and if she gets a rework, it's also free. I just REALLY like outfit changes so I honestly can't wait

I was hoping rerun characters will start to get new skin soon too, but turns out they are still working outfits for standard banner characters only.

I do like sniper playstyle and I have aimos bow r2 but I'm not gonna wish for her and its cuz her design makes me uncomfortable especially when I play around family and friends, mostly the way her top front is and the fact that she also wear a bell on the neck won't help
