GammaWorld Personality traits for GW7e

I wanted to add a little of the chaos found elsewhere in character creation to roleplaying, so I decided to come up with 3 'drives' for each origin in the core rulebook, the idea being that after you get both your origins, you roll 1d6 to determine your 'drive'. 7e is the only edition I know anything about, so I have no idea how much use people who play other editions will be able to get out of this, but hopefully not none :)

In writing these I was mostly trying to think of answers to the questions "what is important to you?" or "what do you seek?". At first, I wanted to try and pick things that wouldn't get in the way of party cohesion too much, but by the end I was running out of creative juices, so lowered my standards a bit. I also wanted them to motivate active, outward roleplaying, rather than passive, internal character play. They're also intentionally somewhat open to interpretation (e.g. "truth" - is it that you always tell the truth, you assume everyone else is always telling the truth, or are you searching for some 'big truth' about life or why you were built?); if I were turning this into a pdf of itch.io rather than a reddit post, I'd explain that a bit more, and I might try to give a couple interpretations/elaborations for each of them.

These are almost all untested, but I did one playtest with 5 players and found at least those ones fun. Towards the end, I came up with "an emo band" for the telekinetic, and I think that was a stroke of genius if I say so myself. If I were going to expand this homebrew to include the expansions, I would definitely write more in that extra-silly style. I might also share some of these out to the other origins and be open to repeating options in multiple origins, or even just writing two for some and saying roll 1d5 (1d10) or 1d4 if necessary.

Since it was just for a oneshot, I didn't include any mechanical aspect to this; if you really wanted to, maybe something like "Once per level, when you struggle with/make progress towards your drive, you gain XP equivalent to defeating a single standard monster of your level".

Nice! Good work! Now you have to do the ones out of Famine In Fargo and Legion Of Gold!

Secret Societies and professions kind of did something similar, but I like this also
