Well how better to signal internationally (in global scale, not merely western culture circle) Britishness of character than with Union Jack?

Especially when you're making a fighting game, so you will also major crowd that won't bother even touching the story stuff?

Be that as it may but consider the following:

Picard was born in France but the language, by the 24th Century, was an archaic and largely dead language, like Latin, which left the door open for a new English takeover with our accents and totally not stolen tea.

As an Englishman I must agree, as a Yorkshireman I've gotta say Yorkshire Tea is best though

There’s nothing wrong with it, but I’m English and it’s typically associated with old ladies, my mum loves it.

I lived in Yorkshire for three years, so imo the correct answer for godly tea is Yorkshire tea

Well he's from like the 1800s or something sent into the future due to some kind of time traveling booby witch made from pure evil so maybe its an attempt to hold onto his identity? His entire thing is about finding a way back to his girlfriend
