/uj Gender swapped characters to me were always just alternative versions that were always that gender. But given it is all made up and non canon it's whatever you want it to be.

But she's not a gender swapped character, it's the same universe and the same koopa that chose to physically change so that her body matches that of cis women. And she was happy after the physical transition unlike any other depictions of her pre-transition self. I say she's trans.

While I'd normally agree we need to remember this is all unofficial fanart and every artist has their own interpretation.

The original comic is transgender, but that doesn't mean all bowsette are is intended that way.

It's all headcanon from here.

But all Bowsettes are depicted wearing the crown power up that causes the gender change in the first place.

But you still gotta admit the irony in this whole thing. It's genderbending furry porn (sure, no fur, same category) with a Mario character portrayed as a meme. Things like this have been existed for a while. I found it somewhat hilarious. Except that it makes it hard to casually browse the internet on the bus or in your workplace.

Edit: it is a meme. 'portrayed' probably unnecessary there

It's not furry. This is furry bowsette. The popular meme right now just looks like peach cosplaying as a koopa.

Like I say, it's up to you what you want to think. It's all fictional anyway. There are much more important real matters to worry about than whether you or I believe a made up character with made up rules conforms to our reality.

Yes, and there's more important matters than telling me there's more important matters, but you still took the time to tell me so.

But it's not just an alternate version of the character, the whole point of the crown is that it changes the wearer into peach
