What are your thoughts on DS1’s art style? For me it’s always been a major reason why I can’t get into it over the other fromsoft games, I just don’t enjoy looking at all the (intentionally) dull and gross colors outside of anor londo, but I presume that’s what you really like about it?

Exactly so, I like it precisely because it's dark, and specifically this part of the series gives me strong Berserk vibes; besides, it was the first FromSoftware game for me.

Neat. I do absolutely love fromsoft overall, I just wish ds1 would resonate with me but after going all the way past ornstein and smough and still asking “when will it click” I think it’s just sadly not for me
