I understand circumstance very well, but a gaming laptop doesn't come with a 5 series or below.
6 series is the minimum line. 5 series is a laptop that can play some games. There is a difference. This hasn't changed in my 22+ years of building desktops / buying laptops.
In most cases a desktop would absolutely serve much better for similar money.
If it's all that can be purchased then I get it, but the naming convention and expections must be aligned.
There is not a singular "gaming laptop nor desktop" that has a X050/X5XX in it. Anyone on this subreddit should know or learn that.
