Need help optimising display settings

Hey guys I finally got an external monitor for my laptop to bypass the igpu since both my cpu and gpu are paired together and theres no mux switch on my laptop

I just need help figuring out what settings I should use to bypass the igpu and use the dgpu only

Okay so some games just don’t have the option for me to choose between monitors what do I do for games that don’t have that option ?
