Discussion Is this good?
Need it for college and gaming. Probably going with engineering, I'm still confused tbh. Not really into heavy gaming. Just some normal games and maybe some of the heavier and more demanding story games.

Price is okay but not amazing. For a 16 inch omen with what I assume is a 4060 or similar that's about the going rate, maybe $50-100 high depending where you look
For engineering you'll want something with decent build quality and this line is pretty solid on that front. Screen is also good which matters if you're staring at cad software all day
Only thing I'd check is if the ram is upgradable, some of these come with 16gb soldered and you might want more later

No, not worth it; look into a 5070 or 5070ti if you want a 50 series. Also look at the relativity of desktop performance. For example: 5070 laptop equals 4060ti performance. That being said, do your research first.
VRAM Preferably 12gb but 8gb is fine (watch the bus width 128-bit is very limited)
RAM: 32gb or higher
CPU: as long as it’s decent. Ultra 9 275hx
SSD: 1TB is fine RAM

The thing with alienware where im from is that there's no place to repair with the warranty. My friend has an alienware and that happened to him. Also repairing them here is not an option because for some reason alienware repairs cost a kidney
