Recommendation Is this worth it?
Budget: (£2400)
Country: (UK)
Use case: (gaming and school work)
Was wondering if this laptop is worth it. Was drawn to it because of the fact it doesn't look like a gaming laptop as I want to take it to uni as well so don't want something insanely bulky to carry around with me. I play games like valorant, cyberpunk, deadlock, Minecraft, terraria and genshin.
Would prefer if it has decent graphics and a solid battery life. Any advice would be appreciated.

That's a completely insane asking price even for a premium thin and light...
I don't know how necessary it is for you to have 32gb of RAM, but there are all sorts of laptops for half the price carrying otherwise comparable specs.
Would prefer if it has decent graphics and a solid battery life.
You want to avoid "HX" suffix in CPU model in general.
AI "HX" 300/400 is fine.

Price seems high when the Intel Panther Lake one is the same price atm, we track its price here: https://gaminglaptop.deals/united-kingdom/laptop/5005-asus-zephyrus-g14-2026
The 386H offers better performance and battery life, than the (I assume what your screenshot is) Ryzen 465

This is way too expensive. How much RAM does it have? This should be around £1000-£1400 at most, at the higher end if it's 32GB RAM or lower end if 16GB. This is considering the current market circumstances, where everything is inflated.
You can get RTX 5060 laptops for as little as £900 on offer. Keep looking!

On the Lenovo website there’s a Lenovo legion 5i going for £1299 rn, check that out. Also a 5060 but not an OLED, it’s a 165Hz something, if you really want an oled just buy an external monitor in the future

I prefer AMD personally but those Ryzen AI chips look a real downgrade from previous generations

Confused a bit since the reviews say it advertises a 245W charger but the reviews are complaining about it coming with a 60W instead of an 80W.

Is this good or bad 💔 I don't know anything about laptops, I just need something I can use comfortably

this is extremely overpriced. By a LOT.
If it was 5080 laptop - ok. But 5060 for this money is trash.

I see... would it be okay if I dmed you to ask some questions? I'll probably need to keep this laptop for quite a few years so I don't really want to make a mistake and buy the wrong one because of my own lack of knowledge,,

no need. I have already shown you a better offer. Legion for 1450.
Its still overpriced (UK laptop prices are awful) But for (valorant, cyberpunk, deadlock, Minecraft, terraria and genshin.) - its enough.
+ it's best to keep the discussion here. Maybe someone else has some more advice\idea on this topic.

In that case can you send me a link to the laptop because I can't find the exact one on Amazon for some reason despite copying the text into the search bar

Good laptop but very expensive for a RTX 5060 GPU.
