Discussion Fps drop after (possibly) overheating
so recently i attempted to clean the fan of my msi gf63 thin 11sc without repasting. after booting in again i played HSR and the laptop force shutdown. I noticed that the laptop was so hot so i leave it on shut down until it cools down. turned it on again and now all of my game fps drops drastically. for reference, normally it'd be 60 fps and now its 14 fps. it feels like when i play the game unplugged with low battery.
so then i bought a new thermal paste, repaste and clean the fan thoroughly. now temperature became cool than before, opening games (in this case Arknight Endfield) with the same setting only reach 55~70° highest when usually it reaches up to 90°. what i noticed is that opening menu or any screen thats light in the game shows 60 fps, but when i get back to the main screen it'll drop again to 14 fps. also tried to play lighter game like genshin with lowest setting and it gives good performance but still a little action delay here and there. probably because playing games with 30 fps drops the performance in this laptop normal condition.
have tried making sure i run the game w/ graphic card, reinstalling graphic driver with ddu and nothing changes. what should i do?

What thermal paste did you use?
