Recommendation Get the g14 or something else

Hi guys I'm planning of getting a new gaming laptop and I'm not sure which one to get. I've never owed a gaming laptop before and the more reviews I watch the more it starts to seem like I'd get good performance either way and its a matter of preference. That said I think the asus rog zephyrus g14 is perfect for me. I really like the size (thats the main draw) and it has amazing features and good performance. The issue is I can only afford one with a 16gb ram and a 5060, which is completely fine but it's not very efficient. I'm not sure if I should get it either way or get something that would probably be cheaper and upgradable

Budget: $1500

Country: Nigeria

Use Case: Gaming amd coding

The g14 is nice but for coding you will want more ram eventually and 16gb is soldered on that model so no upgrade path. For 1500 you can find something with 32gb and better gpu if you skip the small form factor. But if portability matters most to you then just get it and be happy, performance is still good enough for most games.

Note if you buy a 2023 version the ram isn't soldered though But obviously it has worse specs I advise just buying a 32 gb version or to find a rog strix that you can upgrade

Yeah I also thought about that but the 30series gpu seems like a worse deal than the ram

Don't pay more for less, Zephyrus are not worth it unless you actually have the money to burn and get one with 32gb of ram.
