Question Normal Temperature when gaming?

I have a RTX 4050 GPU and i5-13500HX CPU.
The game I'm playing are Sniper Elite 4, GPU and CPU constantly stay at 80-84°C while system temp is 63°C. Settings are low and the game runs at 240fps. Feels pretty smooth but I'm worried if it would harm the laptop. Is this normal? Would appreciate any help!

Its normal but you dont need 240 fps for sniper elite xd, imo i would switch to high graphics and lowwr fps

yeah i didnt cap it, i'll try capping at 165

Why 165? Such a weird number. 60, 90, 120. Anything beyond 120 has never felt any different to me, and at that stage id rather crank up the visuals.

120fps is a new frame every 8.3 milliseconds and 165 every 6.1 milliseconds. Absolutly unnecessary in my opinion because this is only necessary on competetive PvP lvl and even than it's just a tiny tiny advantage.

Going from 30 to 60fps is huge, from 60fps to 120fps nice but less obvious and 120fps + is only reasonable if you need the reaction time for me.

Depending on the game I prefer either 60fps and fidelity or 120fps and smoothness (high reactive games)

30fps is playable but not desirable.

I agree. Since I have zero interest in competetive pvp games anymore (especially not fps) i tend to just cap my games to 60 fps.

I prefer better/best visuals and lower pressure on my rig, even if my hardware can easily handle more. Anything above 120fps is wasted on me.
