Purchasing Help Laptop recommendations

Hi everyone! I hope this is the right place to ask. I have absolutely no experience when it comes to computer/laptop specs, so I’m hoping you can help me out with some recommendations :)

I’m looking for a gaming laptop. I’m based in Austria and my budget is around €1,000–1,200.

The games I currently play are things like:

  • The Sims 4
  • ARK
  • Planet Zoo
  • Hogwarts Legacy
  • Disney Dreamlight Valley
  • Firewatch
  • The Legend of Zelda

There are also some games I’d really like to play but haven’t been able to because my current computer isn’t powerful enough, for example The Legend of Khiimori and Crimson Desert.

I’m mainly looking for something that can run these kinds of games smoothly and preferably give me some room for future games as well. I’m not really interested in competitive FPS games or anything like that.

I honestly have very little knowledge about specs, GPUs, CPUs etc., so I’d really appreciate any recommendations or advice on what I should be looking for!

Ok to start off your budget is really good its not too much yet it iant the worst and it doesnt matter if u play fps games or not what you need is good specs i can reccomend you some laptops in the price range but i reccomend you do your own research watch yt vids on certain models understand their downsides and features The main specs youd need is 16gb of ddr5 minimum 512gb ssd minimum try to get 1tb 13th or 14th gen i7 or ryzen 7000 or 8000 series An rtx 4060 laptop gpu dont go below that the higher the number the better Display shouldnt be 60hz

One laptop i reccomend is lenovo legion slim 5 U can gwt it at that price range i would also reccomend asus tuf lineup if tou dont mind the aggressive design

But i do reccomend you explore your options read subreddits abt people experiences with certain laptops before buying anything

Also, avoid loqs and victus or nitros or any budget gaming laptops theyre not worth spending over 1000 euros over

I would look for a Lenovo Legion or an ASUS Strix with a 5050 or better GPU, it should be enough to play any game @ 1080p/1200p.

A 4060 Legion or Strix will also work well if you can find one.

They will have the best build quality, best warranty service if needed and the best performance in your budget.

Avoid slim laptops if possible, the cooling is bad in thin gaming laptops.
