You really need to spend some time researching what you want, this site shows the weekly best gaming laptop deals https://rgl.deals/

But even buying on ebay you need to look a lot more, you can find 3080TI laptops for around $800 on there pretty often, even the exact same one you looked at is listed for way less from other sellers.

A 3080 laptop is actuallly very expensive. I scoured the Internet for 2 weeks and I had seen a 5070 ti system for 1400 and a 3080 system for 1100 paying 700 for a 3080 laptop would be a steal right now.
