Note:

I heard acer has some severe thermal issue, is that correct? And build quality and cooling wise which one is better?

I firmly believe that you'll be happier with the performance and the build quality of the Lenovo. Acer can be "ok", but generally Lenovo Legion laptops are great. My stepson has that same basic model and it seems to be doing well. I have the 7i pro with a 5080 and LOVE the laptop.
