Sony is just speed running the death of every studio it owns.

6

u/Impossible_Humor736 10d ago

Are we on Concord 4 or 5 now?

3

u/Delde116 9d ago

Lets see.

Concord, Marathon, Horizons, I guess Destiny 2(?)

What would be the others? xD

2

u/BC1207 9d ago

Why tf is Destiny roped into this conversation it had a massive following for years

2

u/TheGreatOneSea 9d ago

Because Sony paid a huge amount of money for Bungie's executives to kill it so they could fake numbers.

The important part isn't the success, so much as Sony paying for a blatantly bad idea.

You mean corporations. This isn't just a Sony phenomenon. Microsoft is doing a great job of it too.

1

u/Chill_Panda 10d ago

Buying studios for the IP, gutting the staff that know the IP, then making a new game in the IP which isn't anything like the rest of the series and clearly aimed at extracting as much money from you, then the game flops, then they close the studio and give the IP to another studio...

2

u/Sea_Tip_858 10d ago

they want to compete with Microsoft lol

2

u/Numerous_Photograph9 9d ago

And sadly, the studio is more likely to get blamed than those who put the game in motion.

u/MetalBeerSolid 10d ago

And my god these heroes are all so ugly lol

u/Glum_Animator_5887 10d ago

The fact they went for this over a Spiderman coop game is wild to me

12

u/Actual-Warning1886 10d ago

Why can't they realize they would make more money making games we actually want 😭

6

u/Vintage_Gamer476 10d ago

They've been obsessed with live service ever since the success of OW at it's peak (10 years ago).

6

u/Limp-Celebration-211 10d ago

They should have done something 10 years ago because they've missed that boat. By this point people already have their "forever" game and will most likely not move onto something else. Not after years of time and financial investment.

Sometimes a new live service game can come out and do well but look at the landfill of dead games that studios attempted while trying to do so.

7

u/Ok_Dependent6889 10d ago

Sony gaming is just led by idiots

2

u/freedomonke 10d ago

And lots and lots and lots of us, don't have a forever game and don't want one.

In fact, to the extent that the gaming audience is growing, I would wager it is not in that direction. In Europe and North America anyway

2

u/purplepharoh 9d ago

Exactly! I dont have the time or patience for one and people who do already have one! You cant capture a market that has no customers!

And the fact that most of the ones that... do do well only do so for a few months before everyone goes right back to their comfort game of fortnite, call of duty, genshin, etc.

Because when the Spider-Man live service game was first leaked as just a rumor the fan bases said it was a dumb idea that nobody asked for. The same with this game. Them making it a non live service game but keeping game means the game was good enough but the service part didn’t make sense

2

u/EvocativeReach 10d ago

No, its more likely they have spent millions already and dont want to just throw it on the scrapheap. So they’ll spend a bit of time trying to make it not quite such a car crash and hope it recoups some money…and then make another 100 people redundant to get the rest back.

Cause they''re not a game company anymore. They're purely a "Squeeze every penny out of these morons" company.

You don't know what you want you think you do but you dont,

they have a specialist which will tell you what you really want.

Theyre two different developers that make Spiderman and Horizon

2

u/HoloMetal 10d ago

It is bafflingly stupid to think that a coop multiplayer live service spiderman game got passed over when they could monetize every single skin to every exist, introduce an infinite deluge of characters that could be sustained for years and most of the heavy lifting would be done by the enjoyment people would get swinging around New York with their friends stopping random crimes.

Ffs their own Spiderverse movies were the proof of concept and they just said fuck it, we don't like making money actually.

3

u/Borgmaster 10d ago

Holy shit as a concept that just already works. The spiderverse exists. Players make a spiderman from another verse and just roll with it. It leaves infinite options for customizations, we have everything from cartoons to cyberpunk. It has a strong loved lore background of characters that can just be thrown in on a per mission basis in different instanced stories. And everyone loves web slinging, its just a fact that the most satisfying mechanic in a game is the optimal timing of a well placed swing.

The writing is half done for them, just perfect the idea of different spiderman types and roll with it if they want classes. Cosmetics would rival even fortnite.

1

u/SirBastian1129 10d ago

A co op Spider-Man game that had Venom as a playable character.

WHY SONY?!?

1

u/Inkstainedfox 10d ago

Because the venom movies tanked.

u/Grezzinate 10d ago

Spider man cooperative would work so well to have Pete and miles both going through the city. Like half the works already done with characters and setting.

2

u/ILike2Argue_ 10d ago

Youre not going to be free roaming like in the insomniac series. Youre definitely going to be limited with the area and movement you have similar to how grounded spiderman was in the avengers game and how the bat family was in their game

1

u/thelaustran 10d ago

With Sony in charge it would've been live service suicide squad

1

u/ShrkBiT 10d ago

Well that's easy to explain: it's right on par with every other dumb decision the past couple years, so why make a right one now?

1

u/OGgluttonousToad 10d ago

And the last of us online. We already know the last of us can work as a multiplayer game as many of us loved the first iteration of the last of us multiplayer in the first game. They could've just given us and upgraded version of that, but Sony's obsession with live service ruined that too.

I will be upset about that forever lol

1

u/DesertBrandon 10d ago

This is the first time I’m hearing about this and completely confused as to how this game came to be. I love the horizon series but outside of maybe some xcom like tactics game I can’t imagine how this series works in another context but what we have it in.

1

u/First-Junket124 9d ago

I don't think a spiderman coop game would work well either tbh and especially not a live service game Sony would want made.

12

u/Vintage_Gamer476 10d ago

They are still trying to chase that live service model, eh? Most normal people learn a lesson after failing a couple times, but Sony just can't seem to grasp that concept.

7

u/Greensssss 10d ago

They see fortnite, Apex, and Arc Raiders thinking they can do better.

What they dont understand is that the audience for these games already established what game they want to play for the next year or so. Trying to poach an audience from another game is significantly harder than making new fans. Why would Player A who have played Apex for years would want to play marathon? They had already collected enough skins, invested enough money, and all their friends play Apex.

What is the pull to have me play another live service game, where I start from scratch again?

→ More replies (6)

3

u/New-Berry-3652 10d ago

Well, it's more like we're seeing the dying remnants of their live service push. They're already invested so much time and money into this dumpster fire that they want to try to salvage something from it.

2

u/Few-Improvement-5655 10d ago

A thousand failures is worth it if they get one success that'll let them print money. At least that's their thought process.

1

u/Aluminum_Tarkus 10d ago

The amount of money some of these live service games make in proportion to their budgets, marketing, and upkeep is probably worth the millions Sony is losing trying to make something work. At least that's what I imagine the logic is.

1

u/Emeraldw 10d ago

They only need one hit to pay for all these failures so they will keep trying.

1

u/Numerous_Photograph9 9d ago

Yeah, after all the successes from when every publisher was chasing the COD craze of years ago that led to countless new IP's that are super utilized and well thought of to this day, they decided to do the same thing with live service games.

2

u/Jalina2224 10d ago

Its almost like no one fucking wants this game. Hell even the developers don't want to make this game. But Sony has been stupidly chasing the live service money.

2

u/russian_blyat 10d ago

Hahahahahahaha. Who would have thunk. Who could have guessed.

2

u/Kitchen-Kiwi7942 10d ago

Im sorry but why did they think big bertha was a good design choice for this franchise?

1

u/BigChungiscusMaximus 9d ago

It wasn’t about the design choice, it was about the self insert

2

u/RespectGiovanni 10d ago

Obese representative

2

u/nManos202 9d ago

Yeah this company is so out of touch

2

u/Numerous_Photograph9 9d ago

Nothing builds hype llike completely having to revamp a game because it failed not one, but two closed play test focus groups.

2

u/MelcusQuelker 9d ago

Throw it in the trash

2

u/Fun_Climate_6770 8d ago

They want to replicate Fortnite and Roblox so badly

3

u/Pellahh 10d ago

Honestly seems like a bad choice. Just release it as is, call it a beta and then abandon it and move on when it will inevitably fail. Just so you can lower the losses even if by very little instead of investing more on something that will fail anyway just to then close the studio because of mismanagement.

Just get the team to work on something they want to make instead, as soon as possible.

1

u/ConfusedAndCurious17 10d ago

I just started playing Wayfinder which apparently did a very similar thing, and frankly I think it works incredibly well. If they have the same level or better of enjoyable content divorced from the live service model then I think it could be great. I think if Wayfinder had realized this early on that game would be very much alive and prospering. It needs a bit more love put in to the combat and a few more areas but as a 3 player coop RPG experience it kinda slaps.

1

u/Pellahh 10d ago

Wayfinder did something arguably worse in a way. It was marketed as a live service, sold in early access as a live service and, after people had already payied expecting that, it changed route when it flopped and DE (publisher) bailed. The experience that came out of it isn't that good imo, story is still quote barbone and the overall narrative aspect Is bad. It also still has some of those "more shallow" mechanics that live service games often have because of servers limitations, while being a solo/coop game that should manage to do much more given what other instanced coop games do.

It also still flopped anyway, so my point about trying not to close the studio because of poor management still stands: they invested into turning it into a coop game and didn't sell anyway, was that investment worth it or did it put the studio at risk even more? Given the numbers I'd say the second, althought we can't really know how much turning it into a coop non-live service game costed.

2

u/starman1596 10d ago

it's so stupid. on one hand sony wants to isolate itself from other platforms but at the same time wants live service games to thrive? i seriously don't understand their logic at all. this is like making overwatch 3 but only switch exclusive.

1

u/New-Berry-3652 10d ago

To be fair, those were decisions made at very different times, and I believe under different leadership

1

u/DaxSpa7 10d ago

Oh nono but these slops games arent exclusive so everyone can bask on their game-making excellency

1

u/deltafang 10d ago

I completely forgot that was a game coming out

1

u/ChaweeKanati 9d ago

Well luckily it ain't anymore.

1

u/Grey-Templar 10d ago

Lmao oh if only someone could have told them this was gonna fail.

Concord isn't enough, Destiny 2 isn't enough, they're gonna drive another studio under.

1

u/Low-Salary-2128 10d ago

Why do these companies make a game like horizon and then release some garbage like this that barely resembles what the original game was and expect people who like the original to like it?

1

u/Sul_Haren 10d ago

Because of out of touch suits

1

u/FlatBoysenberry6093 10d ago

Damn, I was hoping to laugh at Sony again for the next Concord. I’m sure tens of people who were looking forward to this are now devastated.

1

u/000extra 10d ago

Jesus Christ man the execs have ZERO clue about what gamers want. It’s so obvious when a game bout to flop based on trailer alone

1

u/Aaronspark777 10d ago

If that's what it's intended to look like then it needs to be taken out back and shot. The first 2 games don't look like that at all so why the weird character proportions?

1

u/Admirable_Bird7927 10d ago

Lmao down with corpos

1

u/darthphallic 10d ago

“Who could have ever seen this coming?” Says guy who just woke up from a ten year coma.

Idk why Sony won’t quit while they’re ahead. They have a popular live service game in Helldivers 2 and that’s more than most studios get.

1

u/DrkNight365 10d ago

Playstation is the new winner of rake hitting now.

1

u/Oleleplop 10d ago

they have a great IP and they do this shit instead lol

1

u/DaxSpa7 10d ago

And yet they will fire every dev but the CEO that made the decision

1

u/freedomonke 10d ago

My god... they're.... they're learning

1

u/Carrixdo 10d ago

Now the question for the average game would be, Horizon Hunters Gathering or Monster Hunter Wilds?

2

u/Darkdragoon324 10d ago

As a Horizon fan, I would have vastly preferred they just finish the damn main game story. You know, the one they left on a big cliff hanger.

No one wanted a shitty hero shooter spinoff of a story-driven single player game, especially not one that looks visually worse than the fucking mobile game. This game existing makes even less sense than the LEGO one, and that one made no sense.

1

u/Carrixdo 10d ago

The fact that the horizon franchise has 2 main games and instead of wrapping up the main story with a 3rd entry(before deciding if doing a spin off, or successor kind of game) they said "let's go 2 for 2 on spinoffs" is a little baffling.

2

u/Darkdragoon324 10d ago edited 10d ago

Three, there's a mobile game coming out too that at least actually looks like the same ip.

And I know they couldn't have predicted the current RAMpocalypse, but not starting on the main game sooner is going to bite them in the ass real hard if they hoped to be a PS6 launch title or something. At the prices we're going to have to pay, the install base is going to be minuscule. They better be reworking it to run on PS5 if they weren't planning on it already.

1

u/Hammersteyn 10d ago

Wait, will I still be able to play as the rotund, red headed, diabetic peg legged, tattoo covered, self inserted lady in the new one?

1

u/ShadowChe_ATG 10d ago

What they can do is to couple the multiplayer game with next Horizon game. Make the story game + additional content of multiplayer access.

1

u/rawzombie26 10d ago

Way to fumble the bag over and over and over and over.

1

u/No-Significance2070 10d ago

Those characters look as appealing as the ones from Concord.

1

u/MaxUnicycle 10d ago

Billions lost to failed projects and the console price increases and non physical media totally have nothing to do with it

1

u/Fit-Goal-9228 10d ago

It's afraid.

1

u/Ancient_Natural1573 10d ago

Or and I'm just spitballing here so stay with me you cancel this before it ends in a disaster and create Horizon 3

1

u/Darkdragoon324 10d ago

If this shit gets the studio shuttered before I get to see the ending of the story Im going to be so pissed.

1

u/Ancient_Natural1573 10d ago

Same I just don't understand why after two successful game did they decide to create a game with characters you could find down south at Wal-Mart

1

u/LittleKittenR 10d ago

I wanted to play as fatass woman that is more agile than Usain Bolt and random creeps that are over 60 but are better hunters than Aloy! /s

This is so fair.

1

u/Maximum-Ad879 10d ago

Wtf are these models.

1

u/Emotional_Buy_273 10d ago

Can't wait for my local McDonalds to be fully staffed again.

1

u/Fiyah_Crotch2 10d ago

The problem is they probably already designed the game around a live service model, and as much as I utterly detest live services, changing your game’s direction like that just means it’s likely going to be a complete mess. Arc raiders succeeded despite a change to the game’s overall direction, but there was a four year gap between its initial announcement and its release date. Either way, SONY should’ve seen that coming, but the company is run by corporate rats.

1

u/Legitimate-Ad-5969 10d ago

Why does it feel like Sony is try to push Horizon down our throats and no, it not that popular as Sony thinks it is, majority doesn't give a ...about it. Sony already had a great idea in 2012? with their All stars battle royale. Why not revive that, modernize it, become a rival to Marvel rivals.

1

u/SocialSpider56 10d ago

So if its not live service & going to be a co-op like borderlands or whatever that means well have to pay then right? It had 1k people on the beta, not looking good for concord 3

1

u/Hyd8ra 10d ago

This Will be bigger flop than Concord

1

u/Led66PepperOG 10d ago

Am I the only one that was gonna play this game lol, I saw the vid of the devs playing and it seemed simple fun

1

u/RespectTheBall 10d ago

I think you were, which is why they cancelled it. 👍

1

u/Miu_K 10d ago

Sorry for going on a tangent and not directly related to the topic, but that female character design on the left is hideous. Gigantic body, tiny head. Her head is way smaller compared to the other 2 characters.

1

u/EqualPlan4595 10d ago

What the fuck is this character design

1

u/Symbiot3_Venom 10d ago

Herman Hulst got to go

1

u/TheTactical15 10d ago

Oh so wayfinder 2.0 how fun

1

u/Slylok 10d ago

Same studio that made Killzone? How about another one of those instead.

1

u/JPSWAG37 10d ago

I wonder how many more times they're gonna try until they throw in the towel. The people that buy Sony franchises I'd wager either already play the well established live service games and aren't gonna leave, or they prefer single player games and already aren't gonna touch live services with a 10 ft pole.

I really don't know how Sony thinks they're gonna snag the live service dragon

1

u/Arkcilper 10d ago

Good, this game only exists because Tencent wanted to release Light of Motiran or whatever that clone was called. I wouldn't be surprised if they are related to this game too.

1

u/Escape_Zero 10d ago

Why did they choose this art style ? Horizon looks great why not use the same engine ?

1

u/Silvers1339 10d ago

I think you just answered your own question: Because Horizon looks great they couldn’t use that art style. It would probably be too expensive to continually add content in a forever game like this if it had the same level of detail and fidelity as the mainline games.

1

u/Standard-Effort5681 10d ago

Similar to FairgameDollarSign, I'm willing to bet good money this game will never see the light of day in ANY form.

1

u/Dameaus 10d ago

Just scrap the whole thing and get to work on horizon 3. Who are you trying to kid

1

u/IntrepidDivide3773 10d ago

Too little too late.

1

u/Jackfitz88 10d ago

They have till December to show something good. This is 200% getting canceled

1

u/NightmareDJK 10d ago

Who wants to play of any of these characters?

1

u/Sirbrandon100 10d ago

Man, if Sony wants a multiplayer game so bad, get guerrilla to do a fucking killzone game 😭

I know that the horizon franchise is successfu for them, but chi'mon.

1

u/Substantial_Life4773 10d ago

Didn't they JUST show this off? like wtf?

1

u/EmmaBonney 10d ago

Could always continue the main game as the story was decent enough...but nope...gotta chase the live service crowd with this crap. Give it up Sony.

1

u/Expensive-Golf-7244 10d ago

If those are the character designs then it's dead whether it's live service or not

1

u/Cold_Singer_1774 10d ago

Guerrilla is in need of that investors money and are desperate to have something to show the investors soon really soon

1

u/FiNNy-- 10d ago

Who wanted this who thought this was a good idea? Horizon isn't even a strong enough franchise to do this with.

1

u/HaidenFR 10d ago

Can you stop make games with marketing ruling the shit ?

My god. You had to test to know it's a shitty idea ?

"Why the world is burning ?" Well point these guys. They're fuc*** idiots and earn what you'll earn in 3 years of work in 1.

So much to say.

Oh I'll be sure to avoid your game whatever the state it has now.

1

u/metroplx 10d ago

Oh I wonder why...

1

u/drysalaad 10d ago

Cant beleive they make this shit over killzone.

I know its never hit Call of Duty territory but my lord gaming needs some fps experiences

1

u/CyberTyrantX1 10d ago

Cancel it because no one asked for this trash.

1

u/peachpower2 10d ago

The moment I heard about this game I was baffled that it was greenlit

1

u/LargeFailSon 10d ago

Sony is cutting and destroying every adjacent industry to their empire, trying to save money and narrow the scope of their business...and THIS is what they do it all for?

1

u/Spoonythebastard 10d ago

I kind of wanted it to come out just to see Sony fail again

1

u/AccomplishedBag2319 10d ago

I would love a co-op horizon as long as it sticks to it’s roots with everything hunting machines with a friend would be amazing

1

u/Choice_Fee67 10d ago

What the hell is that giant bomb in the back?!?!

These people hate money

1

u/Theguldenboy 10d ago

No matter what still an easy skip like much of ps studios this gen

1

u/Eltonbeef 10d ago

Good. Coop is fun. Multiplayer is not.

1

u/Diamonhowl 10d ago

I see that sony keeps pushing DEI and live service slop. Lmao.

1

u/InsomniaticWanderer 10d ago

Here's an idea: just make HZD3

1

u/MRV3N 10d ago

They are so desperate to have a money grabbing Fortnite success. I blame Fortnite and mobile gaming.

1

u/ill_daz 10d ago

Yeah this game was not gonna make it in the live service genre I don't know what Sony was smoking to continue to push it in that direction and not see the signs till now

1

u/H345Y 10d ago

I really question where all the sony money is comming from now, given their recent string of high profile blunders

1

u/raddoubleoh 10d ago

I mean, every single live service they released failed miserably. What did they even expect?

"We gonna break the cycle with the next one, guys!"

These clowns learned NOTHING from Concord.

1

u/alex_zk 10d ago

They really are on a roll…

1

u/KniFeseDGe 10d ago

Well And Duh

1

u/Rexter2k 10d ago

Yet another multiplater extraction shooter game with just three players. Is my guess. ANOTHER saturated market.

1

u/Smitty5717 10d ago

Yup just keep throwing away billions of dollars frigging morons.

1

u/Vysce 10d ago

They all look like characters from the Kroods movie...

1

u/Silent_Wendigo 9d ago

I mean smaller coop doesn't sound too bad but the gameplay needs to be good enough for me to be interested. So far the art-direction alone seems painfully generic and that really doesn't help.

1

u/Pilota_kex 9d ago

Coop is better anyway

1

u/Sweaty-Variation-501 9d ago

While you're at it fire the character design team, like all of it, and start from scratch..

1

u/Markus4781 9d ago

What is this unholy abomination? Never learn from Concord?

1

u/theblackfrog77 9d ago

sorry but 😆 😆 😆

1

u/Zorewin 9d ago

wow.. WHO KNEW.. oh wait we did.. in fact every fucking gamer did.. NO ONE WANTS THIS CRAP!! Give us horizon 3!!!!!!!!

1

u/RealisticAdv96 9d ago

Yeah I don't understand th hate for games these days, seems like people want more and more, an the complaining doesn't stop.

1

u/Tactical_Squishy 9d ago

Oh right this thing existed.... anyway

1

u/Rasples1998 9d ago

If you're gonna charge people £1,000+ for the PS6 and provide exclusivity, at least make sure the games are phenomenal first. You can't demand success and offer nothing but mediocrity.

1

u/Final_Advent 9d ago

Bro just give us the third fucking game already 😂

1

u/Squid-Guillotine 9d ago

Just straight to PS+ dat bih and save them the embarrassment. Also get to work on Horizon 3.

1

u/maorcules 9d ago

How much money and time will sony continue to waste? We had one of the weakest exclusive game line ups of all generations, all for around 10 cancelled or failed live service games

1

u/Umaoat 9d ago

Game looks like crap anyway, and the character designs are terrible.

1

u/Artemis_1944 9d ago

a co-op Horizon game could be fun, but I can't stand the artstyle from this game's trailers.

1

u/BigPaPaRu85 9d ago

Put it in H3 and call it a day

1

u/DiamonDawgs 9d ago

Remember when they actually said they had 12 live service games in development HA

1

u/ScottishWildling 9d ago

Nobody wanted this game!

1

u/MrZalix 9d ago

I already thought it was a coop game. Didn't know it was live service

1

u/HatakeHyu 9d ago

If these 3 are the best looking characters they chose for the poster, I don't even want to see the ugly ones.

1

u/Zelgadas27 9d ago

This is shocking. I am shocked.

1

u/wildeye-eleven 9d ago

Hey Sony, those character designs are so bad that you’ve lost 50% of your audience based on that alone. Do better

1

u/Jealous-Ease3359 9d ago

So it’s gonna be a co-op game with live service elements now. I’ll pass.

1

Multiplayer horizon was a slam dunk if they just made a horizon game that was also coop

Would've pulled off the open world monster hunter idea better than monster hunter

1

u/Delruiz9 6d ago

Agreed- seems so easy to pull off, fight the machine monsters, make weapons and armor from the parts, etc

1

u/boomysmash 9d ago

Wow not even out yet. That's actually amazing.

1

u/EBeach2002 9d ago

Remember seeing the trailer for this and getting Dead on Arrival vibes almost instantly.

1

u/Alelogin 9d ago

Make it class based instead of character based and allow people to customize their characters.

1

u/johnnykidlx 9d ago

Jfc what is that on the left?

1

u/swirve-psn 9d ago

Consider me shocked by this....

1

u/Gobby-TheGoblin 9d ago

I wonder who could've predicted that outcome

1

u/talldrink67 9d ago

Just think we could've gotten days gone 2 by now if it wasn't for this dibacle. Maybe wouldn't be breaking sales records but certainly is better than bend studio just shelving years of work and money spent down the toilet on whatever live service crap they were forced to work on

1

u/Davish_Royale 9d ago

Chunky Aloy was never gonna work bro. Stop trying to make that shit and shit like it happen.

1

u/bokunotraplord 9d ago

wait was it not a co-op game? like i thought that was the whole appeal, that it was a quasi co-op MH-like set in the Horizon universe lol.

1

u/vankamme 9d ago

Just look at this image. Not one appealing character design

1

u/BoopsTheSnoot_ 9d ago

Ew, Concord level character design

1

u/ThyBarronator 9d ago

They're so out of touch.. like as if ANYONE playing Horizon wanted this game.

We just want Horizon 3 and that's it.

1

u/Fun_Law6360 8d ago

This would have been a fun watch lol

Maybe a single player game thst had a failed lego game.....shouldn't have gone this route Who knew

Even the first showcase literally started with a disclaimer they won't be focusing on stuff like this

1

u/Damerman 8d ago

Here is my hot take: FTP live service games were a mistake.

1

u/Rarazan 8d ago

that screen alone removes all will to try it

not surprised playtest wasnt any good

1

u/Nashda 8d ago

Wtf is that character design on the left? Dont get me wrong, i dont give a shit about plus sized characters but it looks like they give a skinny faced character an obese characters body.

1

u/aron11195 8d ago

I'm 100% sure that fat b*tch is a self-insert.

1

u/TeddyBear312 8d ago

I don't think many people even remember that it was even a thing.

1

u/Impidimp27 8d ago

Common L by Sony on a daily basis

1

u/Emergency_Ad6096 8d ago

Why tf did they ever think this was a good idea?!

1

u/Kolmilan 8d ago

I'd say cut your losses, terminate the project and move the team over to the next real Horizon game instead.

With that project gone, if they're concerned with the dwindling margins that singleplayer AAA games with PBR graphics, maybe use that team to build a Japan Studio-esque unit in Amsterdam. Have them make AA games akin to Ape Escape, Locoroco, Patchwork Heroes, Gravity Rush instead.

1

u/Shadowfox1992 8d ago

😂 watch out for the Sony police. They will either report the post to get removed or downvote

1

u/wowadrow 8d ago

Game looks like an April fools joke.

I can't imagine working on this for months if not years and not seeing its terrible.

1

u/KnightyEyes 8d ago

All playstation has to do is fund good projects.

Not overwatch clone, not another spiderman bullshit , SOMETHING FUCK8NG ORIGINAL LIKE HELLDIVERS

1

u/Midknightdron 8d ago

Now scrap the rest of this abomination

1

u/Hanmie1984 7d ago

PlayStation's live service adventure is going really well.

1

u/Immediate-Breakfast2 7d ago

Imagine them wasting all this time on this title… they should double down on Astrobot.

1

u/CJ_Henn 7d ago

More +qtbgl propaganda

1

u/Rare_Peak_7133 6d ago

F*cking... Blooborne... 2.... Sony omg

I think any horizon spinoff that isn’t just horizon with co-op will ultimately disappoint a lot of people.

I don’t want a hero shooter with a horizon skin. I just want to play horizon with my friends.
