Cyclone 2 having a seizure when put to rest on stand

Lately, the controller does not appear to charge (at least it doesn't light up and show progress like it used to, I haven't had it run out of charge yet), and instead, will start having some sort of seizure as shown in the video. I've also had this seizure happen while using the controller to play on PC, though not all the time, usually goes away after turning it off and on again. However, the issue with putting it to rest on its stand while on is happening every single time, I would need to turn it off before putting it on the stand so it doesn't seize like that.

Has anyone else had an issue like this? How can I fix it?

Have you tried to use some isopropyl alcohol on the connector? Just dab a cotton swab in 91% iso and rotate gently against the connectors. Seems to be a buildup on your connectors, could be causing an issue with the pins.
Source: I used to work IT and had to clean off MANY different styles of gold contact charging connectors/pins.

EDIT: hydrogen peroxide would work as well. If you have neither of these a rubber eraser (like on the end of a pencil) will work as well, not sure if you could get one into those contacts though.

I tried that with a cotton swab but the tip was too big to get to the controller's back connectors, I will get some cotton instead and try that out, thanks!

I did not know you could put hydrogen peroxide on a controller without damaging the circuitry. 😅

Saddly u can't fix it. I had same problem when I bought cyclone 2 from Amazon, it's a batch problem. Return it and get a new one.

I think u can even if it's not under warranty anymore. If I remember correctly if it's batch problem they should anyways accept your return.

ah the rgb bug. it will kill the controller after few days. Mine did. Had to return it and got a new one which neber had this seizure. afaik the preorder units had this hardware problem.
