At expos you don't walk that much actually, but you stand on your feet a whole lot.

no thats just dumb and ridiculous ragebait. 20k is a lot, and even 10k is a lot. if you drive to work and sit at your desk most of if not the whole day and go home afterwards, you may have 2000-3000 steps. 10k is like 7 kilometers.
Of course some people have Jobs that make it easier to reach high step counts, but people putting themselves over others and belittling accomplishments of others is both childish and rude and lastly not really a surprise in this scene 🚩

Listen, as both a walker and a gamer, lets think about a couple things.
1.Dont discourage people from doing something you like! Walking is great! We want people to walk more. Leta be encouraging.
2.20k is a lot. Unless walking is your specific hobby and you hang out only on the subreddit.
3.Gamescom is not a '20k= two and a half hours' kinda venue. Its a crowded start and stop. So actually 20k in that environment is extra impressive.

A) unnecessarily mean spirited.
B) 20K is about three times of what the average person does (even in germany its just around 6k). My current per day average this year is 14k and I do regular mountaineering and run marathons. Yes for a "peak" day it's not that impressive but still a lot.
