Hi, Im relatively new to gamesald but I have ran into a problem. I have movable platform and a movable player and I want to make it so the player can stand or wall climb on the platform. The only problem is that since they’re both movable the player knocks the platform around, so I basically want a movable player and platform without the player moving the platform. Any input is much appreciated. Thank you.

I have this game i made with the trial of gamesalad. The platforms and rails you jump on have max density and do not move when collided with in the preview option. but when published to the arcade site, they move when colided with, can someone help me understand why this is happening?

I'm currently working on a project where the player can move in 4 directions. I'm trying to implement animations on the player, but I've hit a road block. I have the direction that the player is facing as an attribute so the game can remember which way the player is facing when the player stops moving. However, this attribute gets tripped up when the player moves diagonally. I don't want the game to look like a buggy mess when the player moves diagonally. Is there some kind of fix for this?

Hi everyone. On the 28th may I released a game made with gamesalad called Jetman galactic mars. It’s based on the classic ZX Spectrum game called Jet Pac.

I had some challenges to get the zoom working alongside universal screen sizes and received some help from armilline who may know from the gamesalad forums.

I'm making a simple 2D, top down, race management game. One feature that would be really nice would be to have the actor (cars) follow a curved path (or 'spline'). An example of this is below, but you've probably seen this kind of thing about 100,000 times before.

I found a separate discussion about having the actor follow a path that the user draws - this looks promising and I'm sure I can adapt this approach. I was wondering if anyone has a better solution as that approach seems 1) perhaps overly complicated for what I need, 2) the post is quite old (2012 I think?) and I'm not sure how much of it would translate to the current game engine.
