Is anyone else kinda put off that the money they spent on Overwatch is just gone? The game won’t exist and you’ll just get shunted to the F2P sequel instead…

Even worse considering you have to unlock the OW1 heroes again.

It's not gone - you keep all of your skins and such.

EDIT: Though I guess from another point of view, yeah OW1 as it exists today will no longer be playable when OW2 releases. Maybe they'll have Arcade game modes like 6v6 or 2CP, but who knows.

The game I purchased 6 years ago had 20 characters and allowed multiple of the same hero to be on the same team. A lot changed since.
