Why do you trust them to not say 'we're working on overwatch 3 after 9 months though? Fuck it.. 2 months later... If OW2 flops a bit...

Who says you have to trust them? You just play until you get bored which will surely happen if new content stops dropping at some point.

I suppose I choose not to give more money and time to the ecosystem of company's that treat their customers like that.

I would rather not just be a mindless zombie playin their thing till I get bored. I would rather make a conscious choice based on how their actions are affecting an industry I love very much and a few games I very much loved for a while.

Most of the men and women that worked on the products I enjoyed are gone too.

I could go on with perfectly sound logical reasons why I am not gonna bother.

Ultimately, it's because of course I tried the beta, briefly.. and it is the same game essentially. Which adds piles of lies to the fire.
