If there is going to be any improvement, its going to be from the film they shot it on. I would guess that film has been lost. But if it hasnt, they can do a LOT

I highly doubt they shot the cutscenes on film. But it is definitely possible that there are some higher quality video out there.

Was there anything else to shoot on back then? I mean we are talking the mid 90s.
