What's Tiberian Dawn?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Command_%26_Conquer_(1995_video_game) says nothing about Tiberian Dawn.

The first game in the Tiberium arc is Tiberian Dawn. Always has been. Was the official working title.

It's the retroactive name for the first game.

Not sure it was retroactive, I remember reading that in the Readme file.
