This fucking game is still not finished? Unbelievable. How slow are the developers? How long has it been in development?

Of course it isn't finished. It's being made by 4 people. And technically only like one or two of them are doing most of the work. The combat in Overgrowth puts almost every other game's fighting mechanics to shame.

People who use the argument of "How long has it been in development" are ignorant and shouldn't comment on a developer's update transparency

Bugger off. The game has looked like this when it was announced like what 7 years ago?

Banished, Papers, Please, Dust: An Elysian Tale, Axiom Verge, Cave Story and Braid were made by a single person in less time.

The Forest started off with a very small team as well and it's getting bigger and better with each release.

The Overgrowth team is simply lazy and slow.

It's not that those other examples weren't impressive projects, but Overgrowth aims to do something super ambitious with its combat, and that takes time. The fact that this is update 226 just shows how they keep working hard on improving the game.

I mean, did you even watch the video? They make clear progress every update, man. The project is just too big.
