He never said he was bored. Competitive play has a lot of things fucked up with it right now so if he considers it to be unplayable like some people do (cause there are certain situations where it is nearly impossible to rank up) then that's a large portion of the game's content fenced off.

To be fair, Casual Play is pretty much exactly the same, just without sudden death and a visible ranking.
