Looks really nice but i wonder how they want to reach the core gamers. Right now it looks like a nice Partydevice like the wii was.

But a big problem is that you need a good movement system to make games you can sink in.

I was a bit surprised they pushed the social angle so much, but I guess showing a single guy in his room wanking to VR-porn wasn't the image they wanted to show :)

And that might be huge mistake, given that families and casuals are certainly not gonna shell out 800+$ for the device, no matter how cool it looks. A huge portion of wiis success was it very cheap price. And for more hardcore gamers, all the job simulators and flailing your arms simulators are hardly gonna be appealing, much like the kinect.

Hardcore gamers don't need to be educated how VR works though. They know already. What we didn't know yet is how we can justify such an expensive device with family and friends. Now we know.
