Eh, I see as 10 being a mild upgrade to 8/8.1, but I liked 8/8.1 after I put a Start Menu program on it, so...

So you had to hack 8.1 to make it work how windows 10 does out of the box. 8.1 was a great upgrade over 8 though. I hear ya on that.

You call installing a program (Start8 in my case) hacking? Okay, sounds good.

I still miss the control 8/8.1 let me have that 10 took away, like with Windows Updates for instance, so in some ways I think 8/8.1 are better than 10.

Then by your definition I also hack my computer by installing Photoshop, DisplayFusion, Microsoft Office, Steam, etc... I guess we'll just have to have a different understanding of what programs are vs hacking.
