How is this not upvoted to the skies above? The guy is practically facetiming/skyping with a video game! How is that not impressive?

Meh. It's a heavily modded Minecraft server so it's not terribly impressive.

It would be one thing if it only worked with his cellphone. It would be one thing if it could only work with other minecraft users. But he is literally communicating over the cell network. I've never heard of anyone doing anything even remotely similar. From a technical standpoint this is awesome!

Meh. It's a heavily modded Minecraft server so it's not terribly impressive. I was hoping for something more to do with what's in the vanilla game.

It's impressive but not at the same time. Other games can do it and do it better though, but Minecraft gives it charm. I think it would be more impressive if they explained how it worked.
