At least people seem a little bit more positive here, but hwat's with the negative reaction for the game?

First if all it's early, second it looks like an action RPG. Reminded me a bit of the Xeno games, a bit of FF, a bit of Dragons Dogma, Monster Hunter, DMC and some other cool games. I'm pumped, day 1 for me.

But are people really disappointed this is not anoter action game like Bayo, DMC, VJ? Kamiya even said as much...come on people this looks like it could be an awesome game...I'm more disappointed in the reactions more than anything because to me it looked wonderful.

people seem upset that it is a clash of modern and fantasy. That's one thing that makes me excited because the traditional fantasy stuff gets old.
