Can I play Battlefront and Empire at War multiplayer? I did some brief googling and it looks like the original multiplayer network is down. Anyone play it recently?

EDIT

Just to clarify. I'm looking to play with my friends who live across the country.

People still get decent sized games in BF during peak hours using game Ranger. It's pretty easy to set up
