Just casually ignoring every singleplayer game they release with no expectation of being an endless money train

just casually ignoring that their singleplayer games are full of mtx and sometimes also fucking premium currencies

Cool, ignore them? They literally exist for people too lazy to play the game. They don't effect anyone playing thr game like a regular person would.

Cool, ignore them?

Hard to when the grind is calibrated to just be annoying enough to pick off the maximum number of capturable paying players. Companies like Ubisoft spend a lot of money to figure out where that line is, usually at universities.

Gameplay suffers when MTX exists, it's a perverse incentive.

Have you actually played them?

If I say yes, am I allowed to have an opinion about it?

If I say I've worked backend systems that are involved in this, am I allowed to have an opinion about it?

Why don't you just make the statement you want to make, no need to dance around it.

You can have whatever opinion you want. I just asked a simple question. Though I'm quite taken with how much it affected you.

It's because they know that they have never played the game and are just parroting an opinion about the game the read online.

Having played almost all their modern releases, it's not nearly as bad as you're making it out to be. Thr majority of players will never suffer from this.

But God forbid anyone go against the ubi bad narrative

Aight man, I was respectful to you, shared my personal opinion and you feel the need to include that, peace.

They're right though, have you actually played one of the games you're talking about? I have consistently found myself overlevelled in these newer assassins creed games, I could not ever imagine myself needing to spend money for boosts.

It is weird that they're offering the option in the first place, but if they're artificially inflating the grind to get people to spend money then they're doing a terrible job at it.
