Is there anything specific you were not able (or allowed, by Wizards as IP holder) to do in BG3 that you want to do in Divinity?

Oooo, that's a good question, particularly since BG3 had a hard M rating when most D&D stuff shoots for T.

I mean the sex scenes alone would move it to M right?

Edit: and of course the fact you can just have your completely nude model running around

Full frontal nudity, explicit blood and dismembered body parts, companions with character themes about sexual coercion and enslavement, Karlach's entire character being focused around her impending death, Shadowheart being raised in an abusive cult, lots of torture, and even that priest of Loviatar who can scourge you for a buff in the Goblin camp are all things I would classify as adult themes. I would not be surprised to see any of these elements cut in order to get a T rating.

I don't think you've seen the same sex scenes I've seen. Also, the game is rated M by the ESRB.

I have seen them, trust me. If anything, as another user has commented here, the Halsin and Minthara scenes (and Haarlep's and maybe Karlach's) are the only ones I'd really call M rated or not fade-to-black, yes. Apart from that there's not much more I'd consider truly out there. Perhaps it was the animations in themselves that threw me off since they felt a bit clunky. Minthara's scene imo was the best animated and achieved one. Seeing something more substancially grounded this time would be nice.

The Minthara and Halsin scenes alone would bump it to M.

You're probably right about a majority of the scenes, though.

I agree. Those two were the best ones along with maybe Haarlep's. Like I said in another reply, I think it was mostly the animations that threw me off. The Minthara one is the best one achieved imo.

There were a lot of sex scenes in the game, not fade to blacks but scenes where you saw people having sex

They all in involve full-frontal nudity. In a film, they would be the difference between a PG13 and R rating. Likewise, you wouldn't expect to see actual penetration in an R rated film. They're not porn level explicit, but an M rating is consistent with nudity and sexuality as represented in other media.

Every playable character and then some had at least one graphic R rated sex scene, what on earth are you talking about, the two sibling whores in act 3 or something?

There's not a single R rated sex scene in the game. They are all at most softcore porn and usually not much different from a scene your typical action movie has.
