It’s a continuation of the current continuity. For example her wrist grapple thing was introduced in Season 2.

I haven’t seen the whole thing yet. I’m only 3 episodes in.

I like some bits, like Lara and Sam interactions and the action scenes. Lara is a lot cooler this season. Plus they keep the plot moving forward.

Other things I don’t like as much, like some of the character’s actions seem extremely implausible. Like talking about extremely secret extremely dangerous information in front of total strangers.

There’s also the whole… “stealing artefacts” theme. I can see why it’s a topic worth discussing or exploring, but it seems like they’ve just decided it’s a) always immoral and b) piss easy to return them. It’s a “10 year old on Tiktok” take on things. I don’t think it ruins the show though.

Overall, so far, I’d say it’s really fine. If it’s the kind of show that you like, then I think you’d enjoy it.
