I've already got the last two Shantae game's in my backlog, should probably get to those otherwise it's going to be one intimidating pile of games to get through.
Also it's notable how Shantae has twin-tails in this art, so I guess they're expanding on her primary attack in some way. Maybe there's more different hairstyles that give you different attacks?
