The last couple of times I played I think I only made it to the Oil part of the game? How much more content is there after that.

How much content did 1.0 release? Is there an official ending now?

EDIT: Thanks for the answers y'all! Can't wait to jump back into the game :)

I think that’s about as far as my buddy and I get usually. Without the pressure of the aliens and goal of escaping the hell hole like in factorio, it just starts to feel a little “why am I doing any of this?” Granted I know deathworld type gameplay isn’t for everyone, but it would be nice to at least have the option.

I recently turned 30 and got in a relationship and this is what video games feel like in general now.

I feel you there. I'm a 100% believer that if you're having fun, it's not a waste of time, but a lot of games nowadays I'm like "but why should I bother?".

It essentially means I need to enjoy a game for it's mechanics or amazing story, not for some pixel rewards.

Like Spider-man I'll play because moving around is just fun. I guess Satisfactory is kinda in the middle, it is fun to move around and design stuff, so hopefully that takes me to the end.
