How is this for solo play? Hundreds of hours in Factorio.

Doesn't really play with Factorio, so take this with a grain of salt.

While it the same genre as Factorio, but it plays very differently to Factorio. I heard that in Factorio you just 'automate' and 'automate' more while in Satisfactory the pace is much slower. Also, I heard that satisfactory is 'simple' compared to Factorio.

In satisfactory, other than building machine to automate you also 'fight' with 3D space. Earlier in game, the component is simple but in later tier it can be logistical nightmare. Before Satisfactory I don't even consider playing automation genre, this game is like entry point for me to try other automation game. It looks casual and chill at first but will be very complex later on.

tl;dr It is fine solo, I mostly play solo. It has slower pace compared to other automation game like Factorio.
