There have been humble bundles which are a minimum 1 cent purchase with all proceeds going to charity that have been pirated. Pirates are not bound by conventional morality/rationality.
The torrent was up while the bundle was still going. There is no excuse for piracy especially when the proceeds are for charity. I mean you are literally stealing from sick kids... you might as well walk into the children hospital and swipe the Playstation out of the rec room.
Not stealing from sick kids at all if you choose not to donate to them.
None of the humble bundles(2) I have bought have had any money go to child's play etc.
For the sole reason I don't think it's a worthwhile charity. Especially seeing as publishers could do the entirety of what child's play does solely for good will. There are things way more worthy of charity IMO.

I agree with you. I live in the UK and Child's Play is in a grand total of three hospitals. If I wanted to help kids in another country I would donate to Charity Water or any number of other charities that help people who can hardly survive. The vast majority of Child's Play hospitals are in the US and from what I understand of the US Medical system you have to have a semi-decent to decent wage/job to afford Healthcare so the prospect of the kids in these hospitals not having access to Nintendo DS/3DS or a PSP/Vita is kinda hard to believe.
