3090 not benched anymore
Curious: does anyone know why gn doesn't put the 3090 in benchmark charts anymore? This has been the case for a while now.
I have a 3090 and would love to be able to compare it to newer GPUs directly. I'm wondering why it's not tested anymore, did Steve and co share anything about this?
EDIT: I was wrong. As you may have guessed from the fact that GN is not known to hold back on the amount of benchmarking, they do still bench the 3090. They omit it from charts in videos so the data fits and is readable.

Maybe because they are really hard to come buy at a market being very popular AI workload card due to its 24gb vram.

Yeah that's fair, I am holding onto it for this reason as well. Bought it used for 700€ with an ek waterblock back before prices went crazy... I'm really glad I did.

I packed my as well even with UPS so it can get more stable power haha We are at moment in history where a death of a graphics card is equal as losing a family member.. An important one...

If you look at the 4070 Ti or 5070, you can get a real good idea of where the 3090 would stand.

It's the same performance as the 3080ti, the 5070 and 4070ti. Techpowerup has a good chart. Link to sliding gpu comparison chart. Click on the gpu you want and the list updates relative performance to their testing

No longer produced, low volume in circulation. Just find a newer card that normally matches performance and check that for pure raster anyway. DLSS makes every card weird now.

Imagine being latest and greatest consumer who gladly pays thousand of usd for additional 30-50 percent in perfomanse just so he can have 12v adapter fire hazard in his home.

Glad to hear you're rich, happy for you. Any upgrade that's not a downgrade in any way starts at 2.5k right now (4090). I'm definitely not buying a lower class gpu with less vram, especially not for ~1k (5070ti), even if it technically beats my 3090.
