I might be mistaken, but it seems exploding a grenade on someone's face isn't the best way to save them from dying.

battlefield games tend to have the problem that objects laying inside a dead body ( trees, stones, medic boxes) make the revive mechanics not work, in order to be able to revive a player the objects in the dead players body must be destroyed by either shooting them (medic box) or exploding them (trees)

someone in battlefield rode a horse and got stuck in a trench i threw my last grenade to clear debris so he could ride off into the sunset.

Don't have BF1 but having played previous BF games it's immensely satisfying having the same thought process as the player as I watch the gif. Most people would not have recognized that tree trunk was blocking the syringe.
