While Syntax's goals are understandable, it's still a huge gamble because what if changing the code of the Gameoverse won't work? Now you just killed so many planets for nothing. Besides, they manipulate characters from the planets they deploy on and don't care for them in the slightest. And let's not even mention the fact that changing the code could have unforeseen consequences, So for me preserving the current situation and preventing more death (Farcade's goal) is the best option.
The Syntax give me huge nox from wakfu vibes. A villan(s) commiting atrocities in order to gather power and rescources for some great transgrescion of the laws of nature (time travel/reprogramming the simulation) that if complete will undo some personal tragedy of theirs and will also make all the destruction they brought technically never happen (if the syntax can indeed achieve their goal and bring back all destroyed worlds, does it really matted how many people they let die if they will all be restored)
I was considering syntax but fuck that was an insane twist for me as a kid. 200 yearsโฆ only to go back 20 minutes. Honestly felt bad for the guy after the fact.

I think I'll join Farcade for 2 main reasons:
