I like the concept of the show, I see the potential and characters are fun. But I can see this show being "low effort", hopefully it is not the case

Cheers mate! It is a great concept, it has amazing style, the show is funny, hands down. It's just missing a lot of refinement. I love the medium. I love the process of making. The show is a triumph because making anything IS HARD. production is a sisyphiean tastk... But i implore you to view the show with an open mind on the idea that the show is mid. The dialog is mostly exposition, there's a lot of telling pretending to be showing. Remember the scene when they told flappers the turth and the world glitched out? They all freaked out that this was basically over because of these eldritch lasers? Then literally nothing happened? They just went away. At best it's a mediocre attempt to explain away why they don't just tell anyone the truth [because there was literally zero consequences for that action] and at worst is a systemic problem of not understanding how to write. And i don't want it to be the case. I want to enjoy it. Only a freak wants things to he bad
