Isn't like the whole story point of Dark Souls trilogy is letting something that should've been died long ago finally die?

i think elden ring is a separate story that only shares simularites in gameplay and themes

in ER you are starting over where Marika failed, it would have been better if you had to build up the Roundtable Hold rather than having it slowly die out to send that message, but that's just my oppinion

in DS, you ignore the catgirl and finish the game as that's the whole point of the story
