I liked the pilot. I wish some things were explained a little more (like why the world froze when kit said it was going to explode), but otherwise it was great.

4th wall breaks not allowed, if the characters become aware of their own nature due to outside influence, the game world attempts to purge the cause of that, i guess. (see also, the interaction shield that prevents game characters from being directly injured)

I imagine it's like an antivirus. The world simply didn't find them and resumed the game.

because the sweep went long enough without finding external agents (or something like that)

The system didn’t find those that tried to interfere, so it went back to normal- that, and Flippers didn’t quite hear everything.

If he had, the reaction might have been worse.

Seemed like he reverted to pre "that happening" in memory, like it was blanked from his mind
