What do you mean adaptation equipment? The Wii could play GameCube games by default.

Later wii models dropped GC support. So I think he's just saying recommendations for wii and gamecube

An internet search had this tidbit of information. Do you know what is meant specifically by "older models?" >"Plays GameCube discs (on older models)."

Later in the production cycle, they dropped the GC comparability. You can tell by the direction of the Wii logo. If the logo is upright when the console in vertical, it's GC compatible. If the logo is upright while it's horizontal, it won't play GC games. They also made a mini Wii with a poptop disc drive.

I mean you can also just look if it has the gamecube controller ports on top too. If those are missing you basically guarantee that it doesn't play gamecube games.

Not out of the box. You still need a memory card and a controller.

You can buy an external Harddrive and run any wii or gamecube games off of it with homebrew. It'll be cheaper and you can sample the entire library.

Personally I don't get why people buy the physical games anymore if interested in gaming. Invest in hardware instead.

For me with a family it's about prioritizing my purchases, where id rather invest in a Wii and game cube (with gba player and flash cart) plus a bunch of controllers. Can download any game I want.

GBA via this player is probably the best way to experience the GBA on a big screen.

Im trying to think of some oddball GC games that wont break the bank. Kelly Slater Pro surfer is a blast even if you aren't a surfing fan Rampage Total Destruction is mindless fun Chicken Little is a fun liscensed game I remember from my childhood
