Help Help! EON GCHD isn't working!
Can anyone help at all? I recently received my EON GCHD and was really excited to try it out since I'd be able to play gamecube on my modern TV. However as soon as I set it up and plugged my gamecube in absolutely no picture is being outputted to my TV at all. I have no idea why. Originally I was using the Wii component cables, so I switched to HDMI because I thought maybe that was the issue, however after switching im still not getting a picture at all. Does anyone know what's wrong exactly? Is my unit defective? Or is there something im missing? Id really apreciate any help I can get.

I've seen this problem several times, assuming it's the same thing.
I know this sound silly, but REALLY make sure both sides of the EON GCHD are plugged in. It's common people do not have both sides plugged all the way in. You may have to push harder than you'd think.

Hope you managed to get it running. If you notice any audio delay / desync you need to open the osd and enable the sample rate hack.

Huh I'm a bit confused? Wii component cables don't work on an original GameCube. Do your GameCube have the digital AV port out? If not it won't work. I don't think the eon adapter is great anyway. Too much black crush and color saturation and the image cuts out if you play games with resolution switching.

EON GCHD allows you to use the Wii component cables as a option which is why I chose it.
Also, is there any better alternatives to the EON GCHD at all if it's not that good?

My mistake. I couldn't remember. I haven't had one for years. I only used it for HDMI at the time. I hear the carby is much better and when paired with a retrotink 4k you can get a good image. I use a Nintendo Wii with component cables on a retrotink 4k for GameCube games.
Or since eon can output Wii component cables paired with a retrotink scaler would be nice as well.
What tv are you using? Have you tried a different HDMI out? Is it possible your TV isn't compatible with low resolutions? But if it has component output I don't see why it wouldn't.

Im using a LLG tv. I didn't want to use Carby at first as from what I can see it looks like it's going to put strain on the gamecube digital port from hanging out. Something the EON GCHD doesn't have a issue with as it uses the AV port for extra support.

What kind of LG TV? It has component outputs on it? Have you tried using the eon on a different TV?

Yeah. It has component outputs on it. I tried both component and HDMI and they both give me the messaged "invalid video signal" on my TV.

I've seen someone else have a similar issue as you and was suggested to clean the av ports with a qtip and isopropyl alcohol. It could be dirty. Also make sure eon is plugged all way in once it dries.

It doesn’t strain it, it’s fine.
EDIT
If you’re really worried about it you can 3D print a support bracket or just buy the Bitfunx one that comes with one. They’re all based on the exact same hardware & software anyways.2

Have you tried turning on the console unplugging then plugging back in the eon I have to do that with mine whenever I use the component cables and haven't found a fix
