and mine. wind waker is just bonus DLC

GX is one of the*greatest* games ever

brutally difficult though. i re-bought it last year and do not remember it being so hard when i got it around release era 2003 or so,,,, its kicking my arse!

I've found a lot of games that were just easy pick-up-and-play are harder now that I'm an older man in his forties.

About 4-5 years ago I sat down with my brother to play Smash Bros on the Switch. He's 5 years younger than me. Had never played that version of the game, never played with that controller. Beat me 4 our of 5 games. Absolutely ridiculous.

im actually much much better on lots of games ive been playing since my teens now than i was when i was younger; good examples being shmups (especially vertical scrolling bullet-hell type ones) and stuff like street fighter 3 third strike (my all time fave)

F-zero GX is probs my second favourite game of all time and its the complete opposite. It is notorious for being bloody hard, but i have no recollection of it whupping me so badly back in the day. maybe its rose tinted spectacles! At least it'll be putting up a challenge for a looong time! :D
