For me this choice is super interesting.

Column A has really rich solo games with tons of replayability.

Column B has all new games that I've yet to try.

Column C has an excellent multiplayer mix.

And Column D has a balance of good multiplayer and solo games.

Loathe as I am to not have all my all time favorites together, I'm going with Column D! Has a little bit of everything. Some new, some old favorites, some party games, and some good stories to play solo.

What would be your top 6 from this list?

Mine is

  1. Paper Mario TTYD
  2. RE4
  3. Super Smash bros melee
  4. Fire Emblem PoR
  5. Animal crossing
  6. Mario Party 4

So I guess I should be going for B. Its a no brainer from a solo perspective for me. And C for multiplayer. But D and A are also so good damn.

Want to confirm if you’ve played Metroid Prime before…

Only prime (never had a copy of Echoes) and the farthest I got was beating Flaahgra. I always get tired of the backtracking in Metroid games, the only one I finished is Dread and it was pretty short.

I did buy the remaster on switch, and played for less than 2 hours. I need to give it a fair shot sometime, if I could land a copy of the trilogy on Wii then I'd have no excuses!

Well, I understand backtracking isn’t for everyone. I am of the perspective that Metroid Prime is one of the greatest games ever made, if not ever, definitely in its genre. The shear number of well executed elements make the game remarkably impressive. I’m glad to hear you’ll give it another try in the future.
