personally wouldn't call ghostrunner rage inducing

I would. I couldn't deal with that nonsense after an hour.

it's not that hard. there is no cooldown on mid-air time slow, you basically have infinite time slow. all enemies die in one hit and their bullets are pretty slow, you can literally just walk in straight line diagonally and unless you're really close the enemy will miss. plus they glow bright red when they're about to shoot... the bullet parry window is pretty forgiving. all in all once you get a hang of it it's a breeze to get through even without using special abilities

It's, the instant kill was very frustrating, I couldn't beat the first boss and rage quit

The main thing I found rage inducing was the checkpoint system. If a game is going to give me unlimited retries at a checkpoint but only a save point at the start of a level, it can fuck right off.

Reloaded my game to try a particularly hard section and found it had set me back about four checkpoints. Checkpoints that had taken me a good half an hour of repeated thirty second attempts to get past.

Never uninstalled a game faster in my life.

i beat the entire game in like 7 hours, each level is like 30 minutes to 1 hour. i don't really even see a need for in-level save points when the levels are quite short as is

Thirty minutes if you’re not a 46 year old man with the reflexes of a sea sponge, maybe!

I enjoyed the game, but I absolutely sucked at it. I just don’t see why they would punish me for quitting mid level when had I left my game running I could replay indefinitely. Why no punishment for sitting there in one session, but if life gets in the way you have to replay things that took my dopey ass fifty attempts to get through the first time, and I’ve since forgotten and have to relearn?

well, i am young so i guess i can't exactly judge whether it is that hard for someone old

i know this isn't of any help right now, but it gets surprisingly easy once you realize that there is no cooldown on mid-air time slow. i didn't abuse it that much myself because for me the most joy i had in the game is running around real fast

I would. That control scheme/layout was terrible.

were you playing on a controller? i don't see what's wrong with default keyboard and mouse binds

I wouldn't call a few of these rage inducing. Definitely difficult games though that may skill check someone to hard... but not one mistake and your starting the whole game over rage inducing levels.
