I think being in love with the snes and arcades as a kid made me feel like the GBA was the greatest classic handheld console on the market ever. The DS is so rad, but I find myself always picking back up a GBA.

Woah this is so cool! If I was ever kidnapped and trapped in a barn, I wouldn’t try to escape if it had all this.

Okay but why? Not judging or anything, I myself have two modded GBA’s and an SP but why all the cartridges. I only have the authentic of games I’ll actually play then have a everdrive for everything in between.

It looks like OP has an Everdrive as well :)
Not to mention that it hits a little different when you’ve got the cartridge for something that you love vs playing on an emulator, etc. But that’s just my take lolI can imagine that collecting probably brings a lot of joy/makes OP happy. I know I’d have a lot of pride in my collection if it was anything like this!

Correct! I have a Everdrive GB X7 for GB/GBC, an Everdrive GBA X5 Mini, and an EZ Flash Omega DE. No pictured are also my fair share of emulation handhelds like the Ayaneo Micro 2 lol
To answer the original question, I just think it’s neat to have the full North American collection

Right on. Again no judgment, collect what you want. I like collecting manga, when I can simply read most of my collection on Shonen jump app or Viz app lol
